Getting Started! Here comes another 1/6 scale figure collector!

Hey everyone! Someone has been telling me to give blogger a try since im trying to gets my posts more into the open and meet fellow collectors. I USED to make posts on Windows Live until it turned to roadkill and joined together with Wordpress (which isnt working out very well with me...). I am currently postings blogs about 1/6 scale figures on xanga and im hoping to do the same here in hopes of finding those with the same interests -_____-. I'm going to try migrating most of my previous blog posts on here so please feel free to browse around! Thanks for stopping by! ^^

What I do:
I collect 1/6 scale dolls and figures based on animes and games. Alot of them range from Medicom to Hot Toys to DML to so on. I dont really care if so and so calls them figures or dolls or what not but they're a part of me and each one tells an experience i've enjoyed in my past while growing up. Getting a new fig in the mail or taking snapshots of them really relaxes me and brings me joy every now and then. Everybody needs a hobby right? I DO also have a Dollfie Dream which isnt really 1/6 Scale but... Eh... I still enjoy it >_>...

About myself:
Im a Janitor/College Junkie in his early 20's. I enjoy Nostalgia which is the reason why I am into many animes, games, and mangas. Collecting figures/dolls is something that helps ease me from the troublesome times I endure day by day. Playing games, Going out, Chit Chatting, and watching TV are activies I also enjoy doing but collecting and taking photos is what I enjoy best of all. Its like what Hank Hill said in King of the Hill (Dont quote me on it) "Everyone has their own "lawn" to enjoy, you should also find your own "lawn". I live in USA and perfer to keep my identity on the "down low" due to trolls and other morons who enjoy bashing on their free time. I do enjoy many other things such as movies, regular tv, nature, animals, arts & crafts, food, exploring, paranormal, web browsing, and what not. Normally I am online browsing 4chan, justin.tv , fighters generation, whirled, hotmail, and random figure forums. I am personally seeing someone special who understands me and I do plan to visit her in the near future. I dont mind meeting people who are also fellow collectors or otakus/gamers. All are welcome

TVness:
As mentioned before, I have a nostalgia problem. I am really picky when it comes to animes and I usually enjoy the ones I grew up with in the 90's (Especially the ones on Toonami!). I do like a few new age animes like Death Note, Black Blood Brothers, Pumpkin Scissors, and others but I cant promise that i've seen many. I 'd list a few but that would take up too much time and space. I also enjoy many other tv shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Futurama, Simpsons, Boondocks, Malcom in the Middle, Saved by the Bell, Beyond Belief, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, X-Play, Married with Children, South Park, and Code Monkeys. I do like alot of movies but I also have a list of quite a few I really want to see.

Video Games:
Currently own a Wii, PC(Not very powerful), and a 360 (Hoping to turn into a PS3 soon). I am a fan of platformer games and fighting games but am even more of a fan of older games such as Final Fantasy Series, Mario Bros 3, Castlevania Series, Mario Kart, Sonic the Hedgehog, Final Fight, Sims 2, Smash Bros, and many more. I am usually a fan of Fighting games (although im not very good) and other fun games as well. Im not really into popular new age games so dont ask me about Medal of Honor or Gears of Wars . I am currently playing Pokemon SoulSilver.
