Finally its September 20th! Updates, pre-orders coming closer, Pumpkin smelling stores, 1st month of school almost done, and so much to look forward to for the holidays. I look forward to the end of the year, especially since im working on a promise im fulfilling for the end of the year. Nothing much to really say about everyday living, I got screwed over at work this weekend since I ended up working in both ER and OR over the weekend (which REALLY sucks). People manage to get themselves hurt quite often on the weekend, I guess accidents happen 
. I did receive some of my final orders for the end of the year, im trying to spruce up my collection before Jill Valentine releases (Thats when i'll stop gaining more figs for a while), so I did plan 1 last custom bash before things come to an end, hopefully it will be soon -_-. Almost forget that I am finally unbanned from 4chan! Look for me on /toy/ sometime.
FIGURE TIME:
I have quite a few things to share. Chun li and Ryu came finally which fills a couple of "gamer figure" holes in my collection. There may be more anime than gaming figs but thats alright, seems like an alright balance to me. Might as well share what I came here to share:
Well I managed to get Ryu Capcom vs SNK figure from High Dream and Medicom Chun li (White Variant). I am a fan of Street Fighter and although I dont really use Ryu or Chun li, their appearance in the series is what makes Street Fighter well.... Street fighter. I dont think there have been many Street Fighter games without these two.
Ryu shares the same body type as Terry (who also comes from High Dream), both are articulated here and there but lack articulation in their hands and arms. Ryu's torso has a sliding gimmick in between his pelvis and torso so you could lean his upper body down or up which is what I find most interesting about this figure body. On the other hand neck only offers basic left to right movements, trying to face his head up or down feels very restricted due to the odd rubber(?) like object under his lower neck joint. His arms bend but are very restricted due to the design on the sides of his arms. Finally the hands dont articulate much at all. You could remove them or spin them to move his fist in different directions, It would have been great if the hands were ball jointed or if he atleast came with extra open hands so he could perform a Hadouken. Ryu is still capable of performing all sorts of other attacks found in the game which is what I admire most about it.
Ryu also comes with an alternate outfit in his box, I dont think this is the 2P color but it sure is surprise to see Ryu in another color other than white. 
Chun li is where its all at! Medicom makes great figures and after reading all sorts of reviews about the fig, I knew I had to see it for myself. As expected, her articulation is amazing and could offer MANY promising poses found in the games. Everything form her head to her skirt to her legs are just positionable (its CRAZY!). The changeable hands add on another large variety of different poses you could execute, this is basically the topping on the damn cake. I had to go with the white variant since it was cheaper than the original (which are kind rare and expensive now). Bright side is that its a different look for her (so if you're showing off this fig to friends, their jaws will drop since they all assume she will be in blue xD). I dont think the white variant is limited or special or anything. The body is a very articulated torse covered with a rubber body, the legs and hands are sculpted down to every inch of detail (even her shoes have the proper amount of laces). I dont really have any cons against this figure or anything, maybe it would have been cooler if they added more other than a fig, a base, and a couple of hands (maybe her alpha/zero outfit or her fireball/projectile). Im not like some who find the articulation disappointing or the sculpt being off or anything, this is probably the best female fig in my collection.
Im not super accurate on poses but im sure eventually, I could perform more in game sprite poses other than portraits with some practice. The fun factor about this figure is that I could browse around for photos of chun li and try to match her poses like a mime, even a good remixed chun li theme will go great with this fig xD. Oh... Same thing for Ryu too I suppose lol.
Other than those two, I managed to find some extra cheap clothes for my other undressed figs, its the least I could do before I stop. I also have to remember to get that obitsu body for kenshin himura ><.
Yes I know the 4th pic doesnt belong here but I couldnt resist lmao XD (No I dont have anything against Chun Li).
GAMER CHAT:
I got a hold of some songs from fighting game soundtracks I used to listen to back then. Its great hearing Tekken, SFIII, and Ehrgiez music again! All thanks to TFG mp3 player, now I might update my mp3 player with a larger variaty of music since im sure you all are tired of listening to the same tracks over and over again (I know I am). Maybe atleast 10 songs or so (who knows?). MVC3 updates as usual, Wesker makes an appearance into the fray as well as Spiderman and X-23 (Female Wolverine/Wolverine game clone... Sorry I had to say it). I didnt think Capcom would actually add Wesker though, I guess that gun packing Chris needed someone to pick on him anyways

Besides that, I've been playing Pokemon Soul Silver at work and have been beating places in the battle frontier here and there using Typhlosion and Lucario. Dont believe me? Have a look for yourselves =P.
ANIME TALK:
Just saw the new One Piece last Saturday. Little progress as usual but atleast Luffy is getting somewhere right? Lets just hope that someone ATLEAST manages to touch Ace in the next episode -.-;.
